Mykiel Peterson (aka Myk LO). a brother from Queens, New York, residing in New Jersey that happens to make music. Choppin' samples to create dope hip-hop instrumentals. Myk LO is a Polo Ralph Lauren obsessed, boom bap specialized beat maker from Flushing Queens, New York , who currently resides in New Jersey. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Myk LO was exposed to all types of music that the “World's Borough”had to offer. Myk LO fell in love with hip-hop at a young age, but he enjoyed listening to the beats. Inspired by Cookin Soul, Madlib, and DJ Premier, Myk LO started creating beats in 2020 while being in isolation during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This time away from human interaction helped Myk LO find himself, both personally and musically as he spent the free time listening to music, and perfecting his sound.
