[REBROADCAST FROM MARCH 2, 2020] JoAnne Akalaitis and Philip Glass join us to discuss Akalaitis's double bill, "MUD/DROWNING." The production features the work of María Irene Fornés, including Philip Glass’ transformation of her five-page play, "Drowning," into an opera, and a version of Fornés’s, "Mud." Both are directed by Akalaitis with new music composed by Glass. "MUD/DROWNING" is returning to Mabou Mines for a limited run from September 24 to October 9.
