Jeremy and Eli are back to preview the Mountain West tournament. We dive into the bracket and make predictions on what team is hot at the right time (hint: only Nevada) and what teams could cause an upset. The tournament starts late morning on the West Coast with an intriguing opening round game between San Jose State and Utah State, but do not expect the winner go move on farther than that in the bracket. A few teams to watch for who are not in the top three seeds are San Diego State who has experience in the tournament and has been a mainstay in the title game over the past decade, Fresno State who won the whole thing last year and then New Mexico who is great at getting to the free throw line and they have Tim Williams back who is a big help. The odds favor Nevada winning the whole thing and it looks right now that they are only going to get into the NCAA Tournament by winning the Mountain West tournament. So, it is a winner take all scenario. Also. Jeremy and Eli have a stupid upset title game prediction. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mwwire/support Learn more about your ad choices.
