An electronic pioneer and master of playful fantasy, Mort Garson is best known for his 1976 cult classic Mother Earth's Plantasia, which lay dormant for years until its 2019 reissue. Pushing the boundaries of whimsy, Garson created an album to play to plants. And now, a recently unearthed single from a 1970 National Geographic Special “Zoos of the World” has risen. Stunningly cinematic, take a sonic trip into the mind of Mort Garson on what would have been his 99th birthday.
