In Scott Galloway's The Four (buy the book here, it's great: https://amzn.to/2WDtcAW), he reports the percentage of U.S. households participating in certain institutions or markers of social life, such as voting, gun ownership, attending church, and now, having an Amazon Prime subscription, which 64% of households did in 2016. In other words, more households have Amazon Prime than vote, go to church, or own a gun.
