Moon This week we check in on David as he’s about to finish up a 3-year tour of mining comedic thoughts for movie shows all over the internet when he makes a discovery that his robot helper P.H.I.L. knew all along:  David is a clone?  What does this mean for the future of Brokebot Mountain?  Will David’s new co-host be himself?  Will David deteriorate and fall apart at the end of every episode?  Is David’s knowledge of movies all the result of false memories implanted into his clone brain by Blazing Caribou Studios?  We don’t know… but we do know that we watched the 2009 Duncan Jones film Moon this week, so while someone else sorts out all that other stuff, listen to David and Phil discuss this cult sci-fi hit that kicked off Jones’s directorial career. Synopsis Astronaut Sam Bell has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet’s power problems.
