Collisions can be problematic for wildlife populations - and incredibly dangerous for drivers as well. Many different mitigation strategies — from fencing to under and overpasses — have been used to try to limit collisions But a recent study looking at a particular herd of elk in Ontario suggests a real need to continue monitoring how those strategies are working over time.
