Now that the Oscars are done, the 2020 entertainment year is officially allowed to begin, and we roar back with a vengeance to review 13 movies & tv shows, all the most important castings & film announcements, 5 of the biggest trailers, that new Bond song, and we finally present your long lost SixDegreesOfMMO, yes, the one with the seagulls. What We’re Watching reviews the colorful highs & lows from Birds of Prey, how Martin Lawrence is still funny in Bad Boys For Life, all the Noah Centineo of To All The Boys 2, + Horse Girl, that Taylor Swift doc, Uppity, Buffaloed & Come To Daddy. Then we dive into some TV like that disturbing Aaron Hernandez miniseries, whether or not we know if we like HBO’s The Outsider, how Larry David is curbing our enthusiasm for his shenanigans, the most David Lynch film ever, & McMillions reminds us of fond memories of the monopoly game. In DYC, we recap a ton of movie news & decide whether or not we care about Timothee Chalamet as Bob Dylan, Awkwafina as The Baccarat Machine, Christian Bale as a norse god, how Mike1 has no room in his heart for another Cinderella or Saw movie, how Also Mike needs Rick Moranis & Gordon Bombay back in his life, & how HBO MAX is not f’ing around with that Friends reunion special. There’s a Box Office Update on January & early February. Then we have Battinson sighting, & we review our Trailer Thoughts on The French Dispatch, The Jesus Rolls, Morbius, & Spiral before loving the new theme song for No Time To Die. And finally… we celebrate your hilariously creative submissions for our last Six Degrees of Emily Blunt to Antonio Banderas through a Seagull (or Segal) before you get a new improv and a new challenge! MMOW is back, & we wanna know what you think of anything or everything we discussed in this episode. We’re at MMandOscar on Twitter, and we are on Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and Gmail. You can subscribe / rate / review / like / share / & listen to us on Apple Podcasts, Soundcloud, Stitcher, Google Play, Tune In, Spotify, and just about wherever you might listen. We’re Mike, Mike, & Oscar, and we’re making awards season year round, without the stuffiness. Thanks for listening.
