In the US, the Department of Justice is to launch a probe of policing practices in Minneapolis. The news follows a jury's decision to convict former police officer Derek Chauvin of the murder of George Floyd last May. Captured on video by passers-by, Chauvin knelt on George Floyd's neck for more than nine minutes. He now faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in jail, and the White House is vowing to take fresh action to reform America's police. US Correspondent Simon Marks reports.
