I was thrilled to talk with queer femme filmmakers Chelsea Moore and Erica Rose about their film, Girl Talk. We talked a good bit about why storytelling is such a powerful tool for social change, the need for underrepresented people to tell their own stories. and so much more. I know you’re going to love this conversation! Chelsea Moore and Erica Rose founded Sour Peach Films to focus on stories about female sexuality, portraits of individuals who are often forgotten or overlooked in mainstream media, and exploring identity within new contexts. Their mission is to not only be diverse in front of the camera but to actively employ racial, gender and sexual orientation diversity behind the camera.
