In this episode, Josh Cary interviews Mike Parker, the founder of the Pro Wrestling Mini Museum.

Collecting pro wrestling memorabilia is a great way to celebrate the history of the sport and show your support for the athletes. For Mike Parker, it all started in 1985 when he first discovered pro wrestling. There was a lot of hype around the first WrestleMania, and with stars such as Mr. T involved, Mike was hooked from the start.

Mike began collecting pro wrestling memorabilia in 1986 when his father took him to the racetrack where Ricky the Dragon Steamboat and Big John Stud were guest jockeys. He got their autographs, and it started a lifelong passion for collecting memorabilia. Mike has over 200 items in his pro wrestling mini museum, including autographs, figures, posters, and other collectibles.

Unfortunately, physical pro wrestling museums are dying out, but Mike is dedicated to keeping the history alive. He believes that even though the sport is predetermined, the athletes still have to be trained, and the moves still look like they hurt. The larger-than-life personalities and the good guys versus bad guys dynamic inspire him.

Collecting pro wrestling memorabilia is a great way to honor the sport and its athletes. Mike's passion for pro wrestling started in 1985 and continues to this day. He is committed to keeping the history alive and encouraging others to collect memorabilia.
