Submit ReviewThe Brooklyn Nets continued their winning ways on Sunday afternoon over the visiting Utah Jazz, although it was a significantly closer game in the end than Nets fans would have preferred. After holding a double digit lead throughout the game, a 42 point fourth quarter from the Utah Jazz left the results hanging in the balance.
The starters were forced to return to action mid-way through the fourth but still gave up a dwindling 13-point lead. In spite of narrowly holding on to a one point win, there were several positives across the first three quarters. Mikal Bridges dropped another 30-point performance, and combined with Spencer Dinwiddie and Cam Johnson in attacking the paint and punishing the Jazz at the free-throw line.
In the end Brooklyn pushed its lead for the sixth seed to two full games in the Eastern Conference, and continues their playoff push as the season winds down.
