We're delighted to have former Manchester United winger Mickey Thomas on the Podcast after returning to health following his battle with cancer.

The Welshman went into great detail about parts of his career, sharing some incredible off-the-pitch moments including sleeping at Stamford Bridge, partying with George Michael and his time in prison.

Mickey was also keen to get across his experience with mental health struggles and the pressures of playing at Man Utd. He revealed how it became too much for him which ultimately led to his departure from Old Trafford.

Helen, Sam and Maysie also read out your emails at the end of the episode. If you'd like to write to the only official Manchester United Podcast then e-mail utdpodcast@manutd.co.uk

We'd also love it if you could leave us a rating and review wherever you listen to your podcasts.
