On our 250th episode of All in the Industry®, Shari Bayer is joined by Michael Schatzberg, aka Schatzy, Managing Director for Branded Restaurants, and the Founder and Managing Partner of Branded Strategic Hospitality. Michael has over 35 years of marketing, brand development, management and hospitality experience. He started working at Duke’s in 1995, and went on to turn a single concept restaurant into a multi-unit Hospitality Group - opening up a second Duke’s location in Manhattan, and re-branding Big Daddy’s from a 1969 soda shop into a twist on the classic American diner. Michael runs two Big Daddy’s and two Duke’s locations in Manhattan and advises many start-up hospitality technology companies though Branded Strategic.
