Submit ReviewThis week on Comes A Time, Oteil and Mike are joined by Michael Meade to discuss the tension between what limits us and what we’re called to do in life, powerful influences of Greek mythology on western societies, and why Michael believes that we all have an intrinsic purpose to be a conduit for good. Michael sheds light on some of our favorite topics discussed on Comes A Time, and provides fascinating insights on the connections between beginnings and endings, ancient and modern-day rites of passage, and how to repurpose the ego to function as a helpful critic. Michael also shares an incredible story about revelations he made during his time spent in solitary confinement in Panama, and tells us about the causes of polarization in our society and how we can learn from our mistakes to create a better future.
