On recently being asked to join RATT: "They asked me to take the lead guitar spot... They're kind of courting me a bit for weeks and I kept telling them that I was in the middle of recording Michael Grant & The Assassins. I just had to turn it down because at some point you gotta bet on yourself. I gave a huge chunk of my time to L.A. Guns and in the end got nothing. That was a huge learning experience for me. Stop making other people sound good and just f***ing go for it."
