It’s a feel good summer Friday which will soon turn into a feel good football Friday. The Mets started off their west coast trip with a win in San Diego and the Yankees took the series from the Guardians. Boomer was with Phil Simms yesterday at an appearance for FanDuel and they were talking about the physical attributes of quarterbacks. Phil commented on a quarterback with ‘little, tiny knees’. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds from the Mets beating the Padres. Boomer is using ‘we’ now when he’s talking about the Yankees. There’s a report that John Sterling may do playoff games for Yankees radio. Aaron Rodgers will not play this weekend against the Giants. In the final segment of the hour, Gio has 3 headlines for Boomer and he has to pick out the real one. Sven, the gay penguin, passed away at the young age of 11.
