Gio said Mets fans are becoming close to the most annoying in town because of their inferiority complex. The callers are trying to say Gio is not a real Mets fan. A caller cannot believe Mets fans are being negative after the best regular season win in history. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from a few months ago when the Mets had no hits in 13 innings and Gary Cohen said, ‘it feels like rock bottom’. And then Jerry turns to yesterday and has Cohen on the call as the Mets beat the Braves in dramatic fashion. Jerry has the sound from the postgame party.
