Mets fans are excited, and it no doubt gets harder from here, but maybe this is finally the time again when the Mets are that team. We now look forward to a memorable series against the Phillies. We had a great series against the Braves, the Brewers and now the Phillies. Boomer compared the Mets to last year’s Knicks team and how they bonded and how the fans loved them. They fell to injuries but the Mets are healthy. Pete can separate himself now from the mediocre regular season he had and all will be forgotten. In the final segment of the hour, there is a lot going on this weekend with local sports. Mets and Yankees Saturday, Jets on Sunday morning, and Mets and Giants Sunday in the 4pm window. Malik Nabers doesn’t look like he’s going to be playing in Seattle. Nothing has been decided yet, but it’s not looking great.
