Get ready for an imperfect conversation about food, body image, diet drama, and all of the things I see my community struggling with in regards to food. Speaking to both the consumer and the fitness professional, my goal with this episode is to start to unpack the ways in which you can explore your role in the stigma surrounding weight and body image and let you know that you are not alone.

Stigma Surrounding Weight & Body Image

A stream of consciousness about feeling broken by the number on the scale, fat-shaming, and being okay with being vulnerable, I intend to open up the conversation about a topic so many are confused about but unwilling to admit they need help with.

You are not alone in your struggle to stop blaming yourself for being unable to ‘fix’ your body. If you are terrified of letting go of the familiarity of dieting, feel like you don't know how to listen to your body anymore, or are looking for real people to relate to in the fitness world, this episode is the jumping-off point you need.

Are you confused about food rules or are looking to escape the toxic diet culture? Share how you are trying to make sense of where your body fits into your identity in the comments on the episode page
