Black Hollywood live host Nataly Tavidian interviews Meiko Taylor.
Meiko Taylor is a former foster care youth turned filmmaker. She spent 7 years giving back to the community working as a Group Home Counselor. While working, she had to opportunity to mentor a number of teen girls who were being sex trafficked. Meiko got inspired to create Hip Hop drama aimed at entertaining and educating young girls on some of the tactics used by Sex Traffickers to recruit them, in the hopes of saving a life in the process.
The film currently stars D'Kia Anderson, Rapper Young Texamill, Brely Evans (BET's Being Mary Jane), Kevin McCall (Grammy Winning Singer/Songwriter), and Shayla Hale (NET's Roomie Lover Friend).
