There, potholes have proliferated since Monday, damaging cars, forcing the closure of the freeway and creating massive traffic snarls. Cross says it’s a textbook example of Michigan’s chronic under-investment in its road infrastructure, and emergency road repairs are likely to continue until a planned, multimillion-dollar road reconstruction project kicks off in the spring. UGH!
