Submit ReviewThe Oilers extended their winning streak to five games with a big win over the Tampa Bay Lightning last night, and this means we had plenty to talk about on the brand new Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re talking about Evander Kane's return, Jack Campbell, trade rumours, and a whole lot more.
To kick off this week’s Tuesday podcast, we got started with a look at the Oilers' current winning streak and took a few guesses at how long this heater is going to last. Given the calibre of opponent that Edmonton is facing in the next couple of weeks, there's a real chance to go on a run that could put them back in contention for the division lead. Changing gears, we looked back at last night's win over the Tampa Bay Lightning and how it was one of the spicier nights we've seen in quite some time, which is interesting given that these two teams don't play each other often. From the Maroon slew foot to Kucherov's inability to get called for a penalty, we had a great time recapping the night and how big of a win that really was. Next up, we spent some time talking about Jack Campbell's turnaround and how it's been a lot of fun to watch him find his game, especially in the back half of a season when we need him most. Lastly, we wrapped up the Friday edition of Oilersnation Radio with another round of Hot and Cold performers to recap the week with the highlights and lowlights from what's been going on over the last seven days.
