Scripture passage: Philippians 2:1-11 I wonder: does belonging to Christ help me in any way? Does his Jesus’ love comfort me at all? Has Jesus ever been gentle with me? I wonder, can I sit for a minute with the good news that Jesus, who is equal with God, emptied himself of everything so that he could come and live with us?  Jesus emptied himself out, all the way to death on the cross. I wonder, how does Jesus show me what God is like? What do I want to say to Jesus about that? I wonder if it’s hard sometimes to think and act like Jesus did? Can I ask his Holy Spirit to breathe into me and help me? I wonder how I can look out for the good of others around me this week? Can I ask Jesus, right now and throughout the week, to show me? Jesus, your life, death, and resurrection were all for us and for God’s glory. You show us God’s ways of humility and kindness, and by your Spirit you give us the power to walk in your steps. Thank you for being gentle and loving towards us, and be with us this week as we look out for one another. In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Like what you hear?
