On today’s show, recorded in our mobile podcast studio STORYTELLA, I sit down with Maurice Harris, a florist, artist, and founder of Bloom and Plume in Los Angeles, California.  Raised in the church, Maurice struggled to develop a relationship with his father and found solace in watching his grandmother and mother create in the house, Inspiring Maurice to always want to make spaces more beautiful.

Born into a family that demanded perfection, Maurice was always told that he wasn’t just smart as a child, but that he was special, pushing him to excel at everything he did. And he did just that. Maurice’s life has been dedicated to perfection.
