Last week, we discussed NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, the film that kickstarted George Romero's career. It was during the making of that film that he first crossed paths with an up-and-coming young makeup artist by the name of Tom Savini.

Unfortunately, Savini's deployment to Vietnam prevented the two from working together at the time, but the two would reunite nearly a decade later for their first official collaboration on Romero's modern take on the vampire film, 1977's MARTIN.

Theme Song: "There's Still a Little Bit of Time, If We Hurry and I Mean Hurry" by Slasher Film Festival Strategy.
