She went from not wanting kids to believing in an idealized parenting relationship that (of course) didn’t go to plan. At age 5 she emotionally abandoned her daughter, due to a 10-year bout with depression although she was going through the process of becoming a therapist. Her daughter is now an adult and they’re continuing to learn to have a positive relationship.
