Mark Scott, vice chancellor of the University of Sydney, told a senate inquiry into anti-Semitism at Australian universities that he had "failed" Jewish students who didn't feel safe or welcome on campus. 

Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson moved the private Senator's bill that instigated the inquiry, following encampments by pro-Palestinian students.
