Submit ReviewToday we are joined by Marc Bernardin to discuss his directorial debut, the short film SPLINTER.
Marc is a journalist, public speaker, TV and comic book writer, podcaster, and now filmmaker. He has served as film editor for the Los Angeles Times and senior editor for The Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Weekly. He has written for GQ, Wired, Details, Vulture, Playboy, and Empire. He has been a staff writer for Castle Rock, Treadstone and Carnival Row, and is a supervising producer on Star Trek: Picard.
SPLINTER is focused on Benjamin, a boy who has spent most of his ten years on an airplane that almost never lands, because when his feet touch the ground, rage spreads like a virus. But when a mid-air collision forces the plane to land, it falls to his caretaker and her associate to deal with the explosive fallout.
SPLINTER just screened at this year's HollyShorts festival and will be playing genre festivals throughout the rest of the year.
