Manchester City end the weekend three points clear in the title race as they smashed five past Newcastle and Liverpool drew 1-1 at Anfield against Tottenham. In the relegation battle, Burnley slipped to a first defeat under interim boss Mike Jackson, as Everton won 2-1 away at Leicester City. Fellow strugglers Leeds United lost at Arsenal, to boost the Gunners own Top Four hopes, ahead of the midweek North London derby at Spurs.
