Call it a miracle or a nasty shock, but almost no-one saw the election result coming. So how did the polls fail to predict the Coalition's victory? It's just the latest in a string of polling failures globally, including the failure to predict Donald Trump's victory in the 2016 US Presidential election, and the outcome of the Brexit vote. Featured: Annabel Crabb, ABC political journalist Dr Kevin Bonham, independent polling analyst
