LW1287 - Just Give Me a Better Stills Camera

Camera manufacturers keep adding more and more sophisticated video features into our still cameras. I wish they'd take that same R&D and cost increases and just build a better stills camera for us photographers who don't give a hoot about video. I don't need 5.7k video at 120fps with a fan-cooled body design, I'll never use it, but I have to pay for it just to get a new camera? Remove all that video stuff and just make a camera for photographers, please.
