On today's episode of the Only in OK Show, we take you on a audio visit to Lucille's Service Station in 66.com/hydro.html">Hyrdo, Oklahoma.

Lucille's Service Station, a classic and historic gas station along Route 66 near Hydro, is one of only two upper-story, out-thrust porch style stations left on Oklahoma's stretch of Route 66. Built in 1929 by Carl Ditmore, the service station was renamed to Provine Station in the 1930s. In 1941, the Hamons family took over the operation of the station.

Founded on August 6, 1901, built near the Choctaw, Oklahoma and Gulf Railroad, the settlement was originally called "Caddo", but when the post office was established in September 1901, the name was changed to "Hydro" in reference to the town's plentiful well water.

We also discussed Soldier Creek Industrial Park Trail, MWC, Hub Bike Park LLC and the Midwest City Beacon.
