LTMR Hindsight is a series of podcasts that allows for a more in depth discussion about an area of film that we often don’t get to talk about when discussing an individual movie. For our second episode of LTMR Hindsight, we look back thirty years to June 1982.  A month considered by some to be the single greatest month of film releases ever.  June 1982 saw the film debuts of Kirstie Alley and Drew Barrymore.  It saw the end of the Grease franchise after only two films, the beginning of the legacies of cult fandom for Blade Runner and The Thing, and the death of Spock.  And, of course, the release of the juggernaut that was to become E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, the little film that ultimately became the highest grossing film of all time for nearly fifteen years. Join the Children as they take a more detailed look back at some of the releases and the current events of the time of thirty years ago this month.  They discuss the box office hits, misses, and surprises, as well some of their own memories and experiences of seeing these films.
