We will explore the lives and influence of six LSE people whose work and ideas have shaped our world – do their experiences hold any lessons for today as the 21st century progresses. A tour of the Atrium Exhibition will take place straight after the discussion. Michael Cox is Director of LSE IDEAS and Emeritus Professor of International Relations at LSE. Sue Donnelly is the LSE Archivist responsible for the development of LSE’s institutional archive. David Stevenson is Professor of International History at LSE. His main fields of interests lie in international relations in Europe during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; origins, course, and impact of the First World War.
