Great teams find contributors late in the NFL Draft and the Los Angeles Chargers must use their later picks to find players with potential like Jamaree Salyer. Daniel and David roll out part two of their ideal 7-round Chargers mock draft trying to find sleepers and depth pieces in rounds 4-7. The guys each find an explosive player in round four with David taking electric safety Sydney Brown who comes with flaws but brings a playmaking ability the Chargers lack on the back end. Dan goes with running back DeWayne McBride who had four games with a 60+ yard carry in 2022 at UAB. Cornerback is another position with question marks and Kyu Blu Kelly is an outside corner prospect with ball skills that could be around after poor testing. Los Angeles won't fill every need in this draft but one place they have to address is depth in the trenches and there are some interesting projects that will be available late.
