The Minnesota Wild picked up their biggest win of the season beating the Boston Bruins 4-3 in Overtime to split their 2 game road trip. The Wild were without Jared Spurgeon, Jonas Brodin and earlier in the day found out Mats Zuccarello would be week to week with an upper body injury, and yet the Wild took an early 1-0 lead thanks to the first goal in 15 games for Marcus Johansson. The Wild fell behind 2-1 before Kirill Kaprizov scored his first goal of the game to tie things at 2. It was Kaprizov's first goal since December 5th (6 games). Ryan Hartman gave the Wild a 3-2 lead with his ninth goal of the season. Boston tied the score in the final minutes of regulation before Kaprizov won it in overtime. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 40 of 43 shots to pick up the win. He is now 2 wins away from tying Patrick Roy for 2nd all time in NHL history in wins among goalies. The Wild host Montreal on Thursday for their next game!
