Submit ReviewThe Heat knew they had to get their shooting touch back for Game 4, after their brickfest in the Celtics’ Game 3 blowout win. What they got was continued ice cold shooting- especially from beyond the arc- a 4-23 performance that gave them virtually no chance in a 102-88 blowout loss.
The Celtics have won six STRAIGHT playoff games in Miami, and now they go home for Game 5 with a chance to end this series and the Heat's season.
Derrick White came out en fuego, dropping 22 first half points on 6-9 shooting, 4-7 from 3 on his way to a career-high 38 points. White also held Miami’s leading scorer (without Jimmy Butler) Tyler Herro scoreless for a quarter and a half as the Celts built their lead.
Celtics Stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown weren’t scoring like they usually do. Tatum finished with 18, while Brown added 15, but most of their points came late in the game when the Celtics already had a huge lead.
Celtics’ Center Kristaps Porzingis limped off the court just before halftime with lower leg soreness. Porzingis has been a big key for Boston in this series and all year long. B
am Adebayo scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Heat, his 9th straight 20-point playoff game. Heat. Miami shot less than 25% from 3 in Games 3 & 4 after shooting 53.5% in Game 2.
