Though the Angels picked up a nice win over the Mariners, they seem to have lost Garrett Richards in the process, as the right-hander left the game early in the 3rd inning due to forearm irritation.

Always perceived as having ace-type potential in a Major League rotation, Richard's inability to stay healthy has consistently hampered his progress. The latest setback comes at an inopportune time ahead of the trade deadline, as the Angels attempt to navigate the market and figure out an exact plan to execute towards contention.
