Episode 62 LeRyan NicholsonEighteen year old LeRyan Nicholson went missing in Nashville, TN in April, 1998. After being told incorrectly that LeRyan was found and was safe at home, police called off the search for him. Unfortunately, that wasn't actually the case and LeRyan was still missing. The day after LeRyan was last seen, a body found wrapped up and set on fire was found in Nashville. It took years of searching by LeRyan's family before they learned that the body found the day after LeRyan went missing was actually his. Incredibly, LeRyan's sister Candace, using the NAMUS database, actually made the connection that solved part of the mystery. Candace discusses LeRyan's case, and her efforts to help get justice for him.If you have information about the murder of LeRyan Nicholson, please call the Nashville Homicide Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit at 615-862-7329Special thanks to Olivia Lind, host of Flat Rock and Something's Not Right- she's a resident of the Nashville area, and brought this case to The Murder in My Family to help get more exposure.
