Today I'm joined by Leni Lauritsch and Julia Franz Richter to discuss their IFC Midnight release, RUBIKON.

The film is set 30 years in the future, where a mysterious cloud of toxic pollution has suddenly covered the earth. On the space station Rubikon, the three crewmembers on board with vastly differing world views must decide whether they risk their own lives to save those who may still be alive on earth or ignore the old world to build a new one of safety and solitude, living off the station’s sophisticated algae symbiosis system. As they grapple with the idea of their own mortality, isolation, and moral responsibility, the three struggle to come to a unanimous decision that could affect the fate of humanity.

The film will be releasing in theaters and on demand July 1.
