It was the key announcement in his budget reply speech which focused on the increasing pressures on Australian households, such as access to healthcare, childcare and congestion on our roads. But immigration and housing experts are saying the proposed reduction in numbers will have a minimal impact on the complex factors playing into the housing shortage.
