The name HIRSS was chosen because it represents the fluidity of gender associated with being a woman in modern times—a combination of hers and his. The brand offers designs that bridge the gap between sport and lingerie and rather than focusing on making women feel objectified when wearing their pieces, as is the case with many brands of undergarment, they aimed to create pieces that make women feel strong and self-confident.
