Submit ReviewThe Nets survived a late-game comeback by the Washington Wizards to take a 119-118 win on the road without Kevin Durant. It was an important win for the team and they got a great game from Kyrie Irving who finished with 30 points on 12-23 shooting. They also got a huge performance from LaMarcus Aldridge off the bench who put up 27 points in his 32 minutes. Brooklyn stormed out of the gate early, putting up 74 points by halftime to jump out to a double-digit lead. But things did get a bit bogged down in the second half, allowing the Wizards to pull back into the game. And things got really hectic at the end with the Nets barely surviving.
The Locked on Nets guys break down the game, Irving’s performance, and what it meant to have Aldridge come up big when they needed him the most. They look at Steve Nash’s shortened rotations and how the team was able to survive an off game from James Harden.
