The Brooklyn Nets put their best foot forward on Saturday night, beating the cross-town Knicks 122-115. As has been the case for much of the run without Kevin Durant, the Nets have needed big performances from Kyrie Irving who took over in the fourth. It was also the supporting cast for Brooklyn that helped the Nets get out to an early lead and ultimately put away Julius Randle and the Knicks.

With the struggling Ben Simmons out of the line-up with knee soreness Nic Claxton continued his dominant defense while also setting up teammates on the offensive end, dishes out six assists to go along with his double-double. Consistent and timely shooting from Joe Harris, Royce O'Neal and Seth Curry led the way in support - knocking down 55% from deep.

The Nets have been inconsistent without Kevin Durant but on Saturday night at Barclay's they found their rhythm and will hopefully build on win as the All-Star break approaches.
