Kiwi families bunking off school to go on holiday early say they're doing so because flights are cheaper and they don't care about taking their children out of school early. Meanwhile Associate Education Minister David Seymour has said there would be a crackdown on truancy and parents could face fines for letting their children skip school. First Up producer Mahvash Ikram was at Auckland airport speaking to families checking in early for flights for the Pacific Islands, United States and Australia.
