Host Anthony Desiato and guest Scott Honig dig into the "King of the World" saga in the finale to "Electric 'Til One Million," an epic podcast event mining the late 1990s in the Triangle Era comics and beyond.

In the final major storyline of the Dan Jurgens-led Triangle Era (prior to the arrival of Jeph Loeb and Joe Kelly in late 1999), Superman fears that he isn't doing enough when his nightmares start coming true—so he abandons his Clark Kent identity and positions himself as Earth's authoritarian protector. Featuring additional guest clips by Douglas Evasick.

This episode covers: ACTION COMICS #750-760, ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #564-573, SUPERMAN #141-151, SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF STEEL #85-95, SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF TOMORROW #12-15, and the KING OF THE WORLD and SUPERMEN OF AMERICA one-shots. Featuring the work of Dan Jurgens, Louise Simonson, Karl Kesel, Jerry Ordway, Tom Grummett, Mark Schultz, Doug Mahnke, Stuart Immonen, Mark Millar, and more.
