City and county leaders alike say focusing on chronic homelessness is a key part of addressing the region's homelessness issues. That focus includes pairing housing with services. Soundside spoke with  Marc Dones, the Chief Executive Officer at King County Regional Homelessness Authority about tailoring the plan to meet the needs of people who have been homeless for a year or more, or have been repeatedly homeless, while also dealing with a condition like substance abuse, a mental illness, or a physical disability.
