Another week is in the books and it was an eventful one for the Edmonton Oilers. On this week's episode of Oilersnation Radio, we break down the Connor McDavid injuryZack Kassian's kick to the chest of Erik Cernak, Darnell Nurse's new deal, trade deadline strategies, and a whole lot more.   To kick off this week's podcast (see what I did there), we started with a look at Zack Kassian's strange decision to kick Erik Cernak during the first period of last night's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. While there was no debate that Kassian will be suspended for the move, we did get some passionate takes about exactly how long that suspension should be. Seeing as he's a repeat offender that just came off his last suspension about a month ago, it will be interesting to see what the NHL DoPS does with this current incident. Switching gears, we looked at Connor McDavid's quad injury and tried to figure out whether or not the Oilers are actually telling the truth regarding its severity. Based on the lies they told this past summer in terms of his PCL tear, we all thought it was fair for fans to carry a healthy dose of skepticism when it comes to the captain's health. Next up, we looked at the Sherwood Ford Giant Question of the Week which revolved around Kailer Yamamoto's fine run since being recalled and we all took some guesses on how many goals he'll have before the end of the season. Lastly, we jumped into some salary cap talk as Ken Holland continues to knock items off his to-do list such as Darnell Nurse's and Joakim Nygard's new contracts.
