Submit ReviewThe Kevin Durant trade market is alive and well. The question now, is when will teams stop dipping their toes in the water and dive in? Adam Armbrecht takes a look at the latest Shams Charania article for The Athletic which among others, discusses the Memphis Grizzlies discuss a trade for the soon to be 34-year old Kevin Durant.
A package mostly about draft picks will not excite the Nets fanbase, or Sean Marks for that matter but it does highlight the asset value equation that teams must do. Adam highlights that while the perfect deal has not been offered, as more time passes more more teams are coming to table.
Adam also notes the Atlanta Hawks package, discussed in the article as well, which along with the Boston Celtics seemingly puts a realistic floor on the market. Now, it is simply the matter an extra pick here, a prospect there from the trade buzz to really hit full tilt.
